Robert Schumann: Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major (Rhenish)
Led by Ryusuke Numajiri.
Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 3, “Rhenish,” paints scenes from life along the Rhine. From its joyful, open-air first movement to a majestic, cathedral-inspired fourth movement and a sunlit finale. The result is a dynamic, inviting symphony that feels both fresh and warmly familiar, capturing a sense of place through shifting moods and vivid orchestral colour.
UnTuxed offers a peek behind the curtain. Experience the orchestra in an informal setting. At noon on Symphonic Sessions Thursdays, you can see the orchestra rehearse for the evening concert, learn about the music, and even ask the artistic staff questions.
