An easy and affordable way for teachers to help students enjoy WSO concerts
Tickets for Schools offers music programs an easy and low-cost way to purchase tickets to WSO concerts for their students. Want to recognize a student excelling on a new instrument, acknowledge punctual attendance, show gratitude for extra help outside of music classes, or help students achieve their concert attendance goals? There are countless reasons to show your appreciation and treat your students to a fun, music-filled symphony experience with the WSO!
Please note some limitations apply, and not all concerts are available for purchase through this program.

Helpful Information
Cost
$20* per ticket, except for two free concerts, as noted above (Community Celebration & WNMF Launchpad). There are no limits on the number of concerts, or tickets per concert.
Fulfillment
Once we receive your order, please allow five business days for processing. Once payment is complete, we will send you physical concert tickets that you can distribute to your students.
Pre-Concert Communication
As the primary contact for this order, you will receive pre-concert e-mails with more information about specific concerts that you can forward to the students attending those performances.

Cancellation & Adjustments
Please ensure that the total amount on the Order Form is as correct as possible. If an adjustment is needed, please contact Russell Kunz (see below for info) or reply to your confirmation e-mail. Should a refund be required, credits with the WSO Box Office will be issued.

UnTuxed Matinees for Students
These casual matinee performances by your Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra provide student groups with a bite-sized symphony experience over the lunch hour! Students will learn about the music, the orchestra, how the music was prepared, and then enjoy a taste of orchestral music with a full performance of one or more orchestral works. We even provide a complimentary lesson plan to help you and your students get to know the music. UnTuxed Matinees are a terrific field trip experience for middle and high school students. Student Group Concert Tickets
We can help create a special and memorable experience for you and your students at the WSO concert! An affordable ticket package can be tailored to groups of any size, and we can enrich your experience with things like a hall tour, an artist meet ‘n greet, or perhaps a special reception area for your group. Soundcheck
Encourage your students to join WSO’s Soundcheck program. It’s free and open to anyone aged 13 – 39 or who is a full-time student. Sign up online and get concert tickets for only $20! Click here for more info.
