Music and dance may have their roots in individual cultures, but thanks to their ability to provoke emotional responses, they have the capacity to transcend cultures and impact people everywhere. This December we invite you to celebrate diversity through music and dance by joining the WSO and Folklorama in a seasonal celebration of arts and culture with ensembles representing our global community!
The evening includes recent newcomers to Canada, Ukrainian musicians Yarynka Chepiha and Mariia Balieieva, who were forced to flee their homes as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
