For 55 years, the Hoosli Ukrainian Male Chorus has been sharing their passion for Ukrainian spirit and song. What started out as the St. Vladimir’s College Alumni Choir in 1969, has now grown into an internationally recognized male choral group. Hoosli has performed all over North America, recorded 10 albums, and continues to inspire audiences with its lively performances.

Hoosli is an ancient Ukrainian musical instrument similar to a zither. It represents versatility and vitality, for it produces not only music, but a feeling as well.

Under the direction of Tadeusz Biernacki, Hoosli continues to showcase Ukrainian heritage through its repertoire of traditional folk songs and patriotic songs of Ukraine and the kozaky.

On Saturday March 1, 2025, at the Desautels Concert Hall at the University of Manitoba, join Hoosli as they celebrate their 55th year anniversary with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra for the Symphony in the City Concert Series.

Enjoy a night filled with song and celebration. One night only!
