Watch Star Wars: A New Hope In Concert with Oscar®-winning composer John Williams’ musical score performed live to the film by your Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.

Since the release of the first Star Wars movie over 45 years ago, the Star Wars saga has had a seismic impact on both cinema and culture. It has inspired audiences around the world with its mythic storytelling, captivating characters, ground-breaking special effects and iconic musical scores.

John Williams is well known for scoring all the Star Wars saga films, beginning with 1977’s Star Wars (retitled Star Wars: A New Hope), for which he earned an Academy Award® for Best Original Score. Williams’ scores for The Empire Strikes BackReturn of the JediStar Wars: The Force Awakens, and most recently, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker were each nominated for Best Original Score.

Enjoy the company of fellow Star Wars fans as you dine at shared tables of eight and savour a delectable themed meal. Dinner will be held on the Piano Nobile of the Centennial Concert Hall, exclusively catered by Bergmann’s on Lombard.
