Sandwiched between the more famous Third (Eroica) and Fifth symphonies, the Fourth Symphony is a hidden gem full of wit, charm, and delightful surprises.

Fun Fact: Beethoven’s Fourth Symphony is often overlooked in favour of his more dramatic works, but it’s cherished for its delightful charm and inventiveness. This symphony was a favourite of composer Hector Berlioz, who praised its beauty and elegance.

• Stay after the performance for a post-performance Q&A with the conductor at 1:00 pm.
• You are welcome to come and go quietly during UnTuxed performances if you need to.
