Antonin Dvorák: Te Deum, Op. 103
Johannes Brahms: Ein deutsches Requiem, Op. 45 (A German Requiem)
It was his German Requiem that first won international success for Brahms. Composed in tribute to his late mother, the music follows a journey from earthly suffering through faith, consolation, and ultimately joy. Brahms’ Requiem is a stunning example of the composer’s ability to affirm the beauty of life through music.
