The Mellowtone Duo

The Mellowtone Duo brings together the expressive sounds of voice, cello, and percussion through the artistry of Sophie Caron and Will Spencler. The duo offers an innovative exploration of sound, texture, and colour through a wide variety of repertoire and instrumentation, fusing classical, contemporary, and jazz styles.

Sophie and Will currently study at the Desautels Faculty of Music under esteemed mentors, including Dr. Minna Rose Chung and Victoria Sparks. With extensive experience in orchestral, chamber, and solo performance, these multi-instrumentalists draw upon their diverse musical backgrounds to form a unique and vibrant duo.
