Matt Kozicki

Matt Kozicki is a freelance bassist and music educator based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Matt graduated from Brandon University in February 2020 with a Bachelor of Music and a major in Jazz Performance, winning both the Brandon University Gold Medal in the Bachelor of Music and the Lieutenant Governor’s Gold Medal for his academic distinction. Since graduating, he has enjoyed collaborating with many members of the diverse Manitoba music scene, playing jazz, musical theatre, classical, choral, rock, pop, country, bluegrass, R&B, soul, funk, and more. Matt is also an educator and has taught students at widely ranging ages and experiences levels for over seven years.
