Erin Propp & Larry Roy

Moving beyond the classical music genre, vocalist Erin Propp and musical partner Larry Roy (guitar) wrap up the summer concert recital series. Erin finds a natural fit for her winsome voice and creative calling in a blend of jazz and folk, working with renowned Winnipeg jazz musician and engineer/producer Larry Roy. The Winnipeg-based collaborators share an intersecting love of the expressive vocabulary of jazz, and the melodic, honest, timelessness of folk. The result is a folk/jazz sound with wide appeal, lauded by jazz and folk audiences alike. 

In 2021 the duo released the follow-up to their 2012 JUNO nominated album. 

We Want All the Same Things offers listeners songs that are powerful but not aggressive, diverse without being in conflict, and offers a vision of a softer world.
