Emily Krajewski is from Charlotte, North Carolina, where she began studying the double bass with Jeff Ferdon. She then continued her education at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with Paul Sharpe and Indiana University with Kurt Muroki and Jeffrey Turner.
During her time in Indiana, Emily held the position of Assistant Principal Bass in the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic and was a section member of the Terre Haute Symphony. She also had the pleasure of being a regular substitute player with the Alabama Symphony, Evansville Philharmonic, and Owensboro Symphony.
Emily has enjoyed many rewarding summer experiences, including the Lakes Area Music Festival, the Aspen Music Festival, and the Brevard and Eastern Music Festivals in her home state of North Carolina. She loves hiking and exploring and is excited to be a new resident of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
