Angela Suet Kee Ng
Recognized as an emerging powerhouse, Angela Suet Kee Ng was a Grand Prize winner for the Canadian Music Competition in 2017, making her orchestral debut with the Orchestre de la Francophonie. She also performed in 2017 at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall as part of the first prize winner ceremony for the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition.
Additionally, Angela maintains a strong presence locally, notably winning 7 trophies, including the Atkins Memorial Trophy, in the Winnipeg Music Festival’s 2021 season. She more recently won second prize at the Women’s Musical Club Scholarship Competition, and represented Manitoba at the CFMTA National Piano Competition.
Angela is in her first-year at the University of Toronto as the recipient of the Alice and Armen Matheson Entrance Scholarship, a full tuition scholarship awarded to top undergraduate applicants in piano performance. She’s grateful for her teachers Ludwig Lee, Jane Petroni, David Moroz, and currently, Jamie Parker.
