Ana Toumine

Ana Toumine is a Manitoba-based performer, artist, and writer. She was raised in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual Canadian-Ukrainian home, which encouraged her multi-faceted imagination. Her love for story has translated into many artistic expressions such as playing complicated characters on stage, writing and composing, and developing characters with her visual art. Ana is represented by Natasha Mihell at the Rights Factory within publishing and illustration, holds a Master of Music in Opera and Voice Performance from McGill University, and has won numerous awards and competitions as an opera singer. Notable roles and projects include: Mimí in La Bohème, Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, the title role of Alcina, Anna Glawari in The Merry Widow, ‘Love Languages: Songs and Pictures on Wolf’s Itanlienisches Liederbuch’, ‘Hank and Gremlin’, ‘Heartbeats, like a drum go by.’, and ‘Moon Story’.
