Second Trombone

Daniel Raiskin, Music Director, announces the following vacancy beginning in the 2023-2024 season: Second Trombone, 1-year position from September 11th, 2023 to May 11th, 2024.

National auditions will be held via videotape.

The deadline to submit your tape is June 23rd, 2023.

SALARY: $1164.53 weekly

BENEFITS: Musicians Pension Fund of Canada 10%, Group Life Insurance, Extended Health Care, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Dental Plan.

Please note that this is a Canadian national audition; therefore, it is open only to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, and to those with work permits that would authorize them to work for the WSO.

The musicians of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra are members of the Canadian Federation of Musicians.
