Up Close and Orchestral is a program that makes a direct connection with high school students. Led by WSO music director Alexander Mickelthwate, students receive the rare and exciting opportunity to meet the WSO and experience an interactive ‘up close and personal’ orchestra performance in their school.
The Up Close and Orchestral program visits several high schools each year to share a full orchestra concert with more than 4,800 students. Read more about this program in the Winnipeg Free Press.
