Your support of the WSO is more important than ever. Please consider the role music plays in your life by making a donation in any amount.
The WSO is well positioned to evolve and adapt. We have used these circumstances to create a new 2020/21 season with exceptional concert experiences bursting with creativity, while shining the spotlight on our own talented orchestra and WSO musicians as soloists, as well as drawing from our rich community of musicians as guest artists. The difficulty involved in safely working with guest artists from other regions and nations has made it wiser to reschedule the soloists to our 2021/22 season.
We regrettably announce the 2020-21 Kids Concerts series, Handel’s Messiah and Bach’s Christmas Oratorio are cancelled.
*Please note all concert programming and soloists are subject to change.
Our priority continues to be a safe return for audiences, musicians, volunteers and staff.
The WSO is developing a re-entry strategy adhering to public health and distancing recommendations from the province. For more information regarding your current tickets and health and safety measures for concerts, click here (this page will be updated with additional information as available).
