TICKET HOLDER INFORMATION
What are your Box Office hours?
Currently the Box Office is closed for walk-up service.

Wednesday – Saturday, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm (beginning Sept 8)
Will there be any preconcert activities?
Due to current health and safety precautions, all preconcert activities in the lobby and Piano Nobile have been temporarily suspended.
If I received a credit or ticket voucher for a cancelled performance from the 2019-20 season, but unable to use it before the end of the 2020-21 season due to additional cancelled or rescheduled concerts, will I still able to use it?
Yes. Credits from cancelled performances will be extended valid towards concerts in either the 2020-21 or 2021-22 season.
Can I make purchases at the Concert Hall with cash?
The Concert Hall is encouraging patrons to pay by debit or credit card.
Are all seating sections in the Concert Hall available?
Currently distancing guidelines allow for 30% capacity at the Concert Hall, therefore every second row and three seats between cohort groups are not for sale. Rows 1 – 5 are also not available to provide distancing from the stage.
Will I have my same seats?
Box Office staff are currently reseating patrons as close to their original seats as possible but your seats will most likely be in a different location. Additional Friday evening performances for some concerts have been added to accommodate all current ticket holders.
If you are willing to change dates of your concert(s), require accessible seating or have additional requests such as sitting with other patrons, you can submit your seating request here.
I have a season ticket package. When will I receive my tickets?
Currently we are only reseating patrons for October and November concerts. Tickets for each concert will be sent by email approximately one week prior to each concert.
Due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the repertoire, artists, dates and capacity of concerts are subject to change without notice. In the event the WSO is required to reschedule, cancel or modify programming, ticket holders will be informed of changes and ticket options.
What is the process for entering the Concert Hall?
We are finalizing a number of safety measures for patrons to enter the hall including timed entrances and colour-coded assigned doors based on where your seats are located. You will receive information closer to your concert by email and will be printed on your tickets.
WSO and Concert Hall staff will be on site to assist you in safely entering the hall. Instructions on staggered exits after the concert will be announced from the stage.
Will the concessions and coat check be available?
Currently the coat check will not be open. There will be limited concessions available for purchase (debit or credit card payment preferred).
Additional information on safety measures regarding the lobby, washrooms and elevators will be updated soon.
Will Overture programs be available at concerts?
No. To limit physical contact, we will not be handing out Overture in paper format for concerts this season. However, additional concert notes will be available on the website in advance and sent out with preconcert emails. If you are not signed up to receive the WSO enewsletter, sign up here.
HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES
If I start showing symptoms on the day of a concert, can I obtain a refund?
Anyone experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or who has been in contact with someone diagnosed as carrying the virus is urged not to attend concerts. In such an event, please contact the Box Office to discuss your ticket options.
The WSO is committed to the health and safety of everyone attending, performing in, or working at our concerts. Staff at the WSO and Centennial Concert Hall respects and follows directives from the Province of Manitoba and health authorities including current guidelines for owners/operators, staff/volunteers and patrons of the arts outlined in the province of Manitoba’s Restoring Safe Services recommendations.
All patrons are expected to use the Province of Manitoba’s COVID-19 self assessment tool prior to each concert. If you are feeling unwell, please stay at home.
Will masks be mandatory?
Yes. The safety of our audiences, staff and musicians remains our first priority. All patrons will be required to wear a non-medical grade face mask. Since we will not be providing them, we ask that you bring your own. Face masks will be available for purchase at the concert.
Are the seats disinfected between concerts?
Yes. The Concert Hall has purchased new disinfectant equipment and all seats will be sprayed and allowed time to dry between every performance. Handrails, elevator buttons and other common areas will be sanitized frequently.
What is the process for handling and validating tickets?
We strongly recommend the use of electronic tickets on your mobile device or print-at-home tickets to limit physical contact involved in handling paper tickets. If you are unable to obtain electronic tickets, please contact the Box Office.
Staff will be wearing face masks and gloves while handling tickets. Patrons must show their tickets to be validated for entry to the concert.
What is someone begins showing symptoms associated with COVID-19 after arriving at the venue?
If someone begins showing symptoms, Concert Hall staff will escort the person to Guest Services for further assessment.
Who is responsible for complying with health and safety precautions?
Staff from the WSO and Concert Hall have developed procedures for everyone’s health and safety. Employees will remain on site for each concert to ensure smooth entry and exit from the hall.
What distancing measures are in place in common areas including the lobby?
Floor markers will be installed to remind patrons to maintain a physical distance of two metres/six feet from other individuals or cohort groups.
