Due to the recent rise in the number of positive tests of COVID-19 in Winnipeg, the WSO is regrettably postponing the Made in Manitoba concerts originally scheduled for October 16 & 17. The new concert dates will now be November 20 & 21, 2020.
Current ticketholders will automatically be exchanged into the new performance dates and do not need to contact the WSO Box Office unless the new performance dates do not work for your schedule.
Many have wondered if it’s the long winters, something in the water, or maybe the magical prairie wind that makes for so much artistic talent in our beautiful province. Whatever it is, Made in Manitoba showcases a taste of incredible homegrown talent in an intimate and acoustic setting, playing selections from their own recordings with the orchestra.

With influences from her African heritage, la chanson française and American gospel, Kelly Bado’s music crosses cultural barriers. Together, Winnipeg songstress Erin Propp and the incredible guitarist Larry Roy are a JUNO-nominated duo whose music has been described as blurring the edges of the everyday with deeply personal songs and achingly relatable works.
