Naomi Forman

Soprano Naomi Forman (she/her) has a diverse career in many facets of the arts. A singing actor, she has performed everything from Mozart to musical theatre and new music. She is also a producer, adjudicator and educator. She was appointed to the Manitoba Arts Council in 2019 and taught at Brandon University’s School of Music for fifteen enriching years. Previous engagements with the WSO include Bach’s Magnificat, an Evening of Sondheim with Len Cariou, an Evening of Gilbert & Sullivan, a Christmas tour and the world premiere of T. Patrick Carrabré’s Childrens’ Stories. Forman is a proud member of the Canadian Actors’ Equity Association and has produced/performed three professional operas for the Fringe circuit, including 2022’s 5-Star, one-woman/one-act opera, Before Breakfast, after the play by Eugene O’Neill.
