Jane Pulford

Jane Pulford

Jane (Radomski) Pulford was born in 1983 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her mother, aunt, and brother are public school music teachers and her father is a violinist in the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Wanting to follow in her father’s footsteps, Jane began studying the violin at the age of five with Eleanor Briccetti. She continued her studies with Dr. Lisa Brooks and then with Dr. Brenda Brenner and Mimi Zweig as a member of Indiana University’s String Academy.

Upon high school graduation, Jane was accepted as a violin performance major at the College Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati. There, she studied privately with Piotr Milewski. Jane moved to Winnipeg in 2006 to fill a temporary position in the first violin section of the WSO. In 2013, Jane became a tenured musician of the WSO. In addition to playing in the orchestra, she also enjoys teaching privately.
