Clint McLachlan

Clint McLachlan, Brandon, Manitoba born Tenor is a versatile performer in Musical Theatre, Opera, Solo works, and Choral music. Notable performances include: Mozart’s Requiem, Remendado (Carmen, Bizet), Galileo (We Will Rock You, Elton), Davey (Newsies the Musical, Menken), Leo Bloom (Producers, Brooks), and National Youth Choir 2016.

Clint earned a Masters of Music (Vocal Performance and Literature) from the University of Western Ontario, a Bachelors of Music (Vocal Performance) from Brandon University, and an Education After Degree from Brandon University.

Apart from performing, Clint is a sought-after private voice instructor, music director, conductor, and teacher, sharing his musical knowledge and technical expertise with his students. Clint has put his talents to good use in a number of other ways including as a music director/vocal coach for local productions, teaching after school music classes (Mecca Productions) and as an adjudicator (On The Stage voice festival.)

At Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School, Mr. McLachlan teaches Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Vocal Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Drama. Historically, the CP Sings! Choral Program has been a strong music program in Manitoba and now in his third year at Crocus Plains Clint is proud to be leading such a program. He is also Assistant Conductor of Konektis Choir in Brandon.

Clint and his beautiful wife Nadine live and teach in Brandon with their two dogs Penny and Aria.
