Assistant Concert Master & Principal 2nd Violin

Daniel Raiskin, Music Director announces the following vacancies for the 2022-2023 season:

Principal 2nd Violin
Assistant Concertmaster

A combined national audition will be held on May 2nd, 2022 starting 9:30 AM. Location is TBD. The deadline for application is April 25th, 2022.

Assistant Concertmaster and Principal 2nd Violin Audition Repertoire

CONTRACT DURATION: 38 weeks minimum (three weeks of vacation included)

SALARY:

Principal 2nd Violin: $1397.43 weekly
Assistant Concertmaster (3rd Chair): $1280.98 weekly

BENEFITS: Musicians Pension Fund of Canada 10%, Group Life Insurance, Extended Health Care, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Dental Plan.

Please note that this is a Canadian national audition; therefore it is open only to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, and to those with work permits which would authorize them to work for the WSO.

The musicians of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra are members of the Canadian Federation of Musicians.
