Announces the following vacancy for the

2020-2021 season:

 

Section Double Bass

 

National auditions will be held on January 18th, 2020 starting 9:30 AM at the Centennial Concert Hall in Winnipeg. The deadline for application is January 11th, 2020.

 

Please note the repertoire list will be provided upon receipt of application.

 

CONTRACT DURATION: 38 weeks minimum (three weeks of vacation included)

 

SALARY: $43, 505 minimum

 

BENEFITS: Musicians Pension Fund of Canada 10%, Group Life Insurance, Extended Health Care, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Dental Plan.

 

The musicians of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra are members of the Canadian Federation of Musicians.

 

Please note that this is a Canadian national audition; therefore applicants MUST be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada.
